What Really Exists?

Only a continuous, non-articulated flow exists, and we all float inside it.

This is the only material world.

I call this the Zone of Being.

As soon as we raise ourselves out of the flow and try to make sense of what is happening, we are transferred into the Zone of Knowledge.

What happens then?

First, we delimit a part of the flow, because it is impossible to make sense of everything.

Then, instead of the real world, we receive Our World.

This is already a different world.

Each other person has a different Our World.

In order to engage in knowledge, we must coordinate Our Worlds.

The bundle of coordinated Our Worlds is what we study.

Let us call this bundle Obviousness.

Another name for Obviousness is our Common Context.

Observing this obviousness, we describe our observations and communicate them to one another; that is, we send descriptions.

The sum of these messages constitutes our Ideal World.

There is a Scale of Ideal Forms: every simple message chooses one of these forms for itself.

Every act of reasoning is work with these forms.

A Virtual World is a construct made of ideal forms that can be used for thought experiments.

The Material World, Our World, Obviousness, and the Virtual World are all different things.

We build the Virtual World consciously.

How fully, in terms of cost versus effectiveness, it reflects the Material World and, at the same time, Obviousness, and how this fullness should be evaluated, will become clear as we proceed.
